For January 2011, the Division of Humanities and Social Sciences at Thomas University (Thomasville, GA) is seeking a full-time faculty member to teach undergraduate Art and Humanities. A terminal degree in Art or Art Education is preferred. Proven excellence in teaching and in the use of instructional/online technology and its pedagogy is required. The candidate’s teaching assignments will include interdisciplinary Humanities survey courses and studio and Art History courses for Humanities and Interdisciplinary Studies majors. The candidate will be expected to cultivate opportunities for the campus and broader communities to appreciate visual arts. The ideal candidate would possess experience with film studies and editing software.
