South Asian, Middle Eastern, or African Art History

Oklahoma State University in Stillwater invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor in the art of South Asia, the Middle East, or Africa. The successful candidate will participate in a new MA degree program in Art History that focuses on global connections and cross-cultural influences. Appealing candidates might therefore be, for example, a South Asian specialist who has a secondary interest in Southeast or Central Asia, or an African specialist with a secondary interest in Diaspora or Middle Eastern art. Teaching responsibilities will include upper division undergraduate and graduate courses as well as lower division surveys.
Qualifications: Candidates should have a Ph.D. at the time of appointment, and should be able to demonstrate teaching experience as well as evidence of research and publication potential.
