The Department of Art History at Skidmore College invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant or Associate Professor to begin Fall 2011. A PhD in Art History is required at the time of appointment.
This individual will teach all-Asia art survey plus specialized courses in East, South, or Southeast Asian art. Active participation in the Asian Studies Program is expected.
Those candidates with potential to lead an Asian Studies Program are encouraged to apply. Individuals from underrepresented groups, or who have experience having taught students from diverse backgrounds, are encouraged to apply.
