Oklahoma State University in Stillwater invites applications for a full-time, tenure track Assistant Professor in the art of East Asia. The successful candidate will participate in a planned MA degree program in Art History that focuses on global connections and cross-cultural influences. Appealing candidates might therefore include, for example, a Japanese specialist who has a secondary interest in China, or a Chinese specialist with a secondary interest in cross-cultural encounters within and/or beyond Asia. Teaching responsibilities will include upper division undergraduate and graduate courses as well as lower division courses including an Asian survey.
Candidates should have a Ph.D. at the time of appointment, and should be able to demonstrate teaching experience as well as evidence of research and publication potential.
