The Arlington Arts Center (VA), a well-established, regional visual arts center, seeks an Executive Director with business acumen and a passion for contemporary art to cultivate community relationships, expand funding sources, and manage budgets and operations while maintaining a high local and national profile. AAC is known for mounting cutting-edge, highly respected contemporary art exhibitions; supporting artists-in-residence; and delivering art education programming across diverse media for children, teens, and adults. As Executive Director you will be the face of the Arlington Arts Center to patrons, government and elected officials, partners, and our Board. You will lead a small and dedicated staff, volunteers, and interns. We are looking for a visionary with the drive to lead the mission of the AAC and grow and shape future programs.

Qualifications: 8+ years’ of progressive growth experience in leadership, community relations, and fundraising in a museum, gallery, art center or comparable non-profit organization.
