Job Opening – Visual Resources Coordinator (11/2011)
The Paul J. Gutman Library invited applicants for a part-time Visual Resources Coordinator.
Candidates should have:
• Familiarity with Photoshop, image creation/editing software, and photography in general.
• A strong attention to detail required.
• Knowledge of art, art history and/or architecture is ideal.
• Some photography or digital imaging experience preferred.
• Previous Library or MDID experience a plus.
High School diploma required, Bachleor’s degree preferred.
Use imaging software to create and edit high quality digital images from book or film scans, in support of academic programs. Train and supervise student assistants. Help with Special Collections and other library projects as needed.
