Job Opening – Assistant/Associate Professor (01/2012)

The University of Massachusetts Lowell invites applications for a tenure track Assistant or Associate Professorship in Contemporary Art and Aesthetics, beginning September 1, 2012, in the Department of Cultural Studies.
Applicants must have a proven track record of teaching, research, and publications in contemporary art, theory, and aesthetics.
For Assistant Professor, a Ph.D. in Art History is required, with a minimum of three years of teaching experience at the University level as well as demonstrated scholarly activity. For an Associate Professor, a Ph.D. in Art History is required with a minimum of six years of full-time teaching experience at the University level as well as demonstrated scholarly productivity.
(MUST HAVE Ph.D. AT THE TIME OF APPLICATION for the Assistant and/or Associate Professor position)
