Title of Position: Lecturer in Art & Design (Art History Specialization), School of Art & Design, SIU Carbondale.
Rank: Lecturer (Non Tenure Track, variable time).
Qualifications: Applicants must hold a Master’s or higher degree in Art History at time of application. Experience teaching Art History at the University level is preferred.
Duties: Teach AD207A, Introduction to Art History I, in fall 2012 semester, to include delivering two weekly lectures and supervising GTAs teaching sections (including two online) and a course to be determined in spring semester. All course assignments will be contingent on minimum student enrollment as specified by the Dean of the College.
Start Date: August 16, 2012. Appointment may be renewed subject to performance and programmatic need.
