Terms of Employment: One year, full-time, non-tenure track appointment beginning August 2012.
Qualifications: Candidates should have a PhD (ABD may apply) and evidence of scholarly productivity.
Responsibilities: Responsibilities include teaching art survey courses, art theory and criticism, and others in area of specialization. The successful candidate will be expected to teach both upper and lower division art history courses. Candidates should be committed to undergraduate teaching and have an understanding of and appreciation for the liberal arts environment.
Department of Art: The art department is housed in the Lubbers Center for Visual Arts and consists of three full-time faculty, including art history, 2-D studio, and 3-D studio. The department is also home to the Mills Gallery and its director. Students may complete a major in art or a minor in art or art history.
