Centenary College of New Jersey is seeking to fill an Adjunct Instructor position for Art Appreciation. The Adjunct Instructor reports directly to the Chair of the Department of Communication and Fine Arts.

We seek Adjunct Instructor to teach the following daytime course:
1.Ability to convey ideas in the classroom with enthusiasm and creativity.
2.Classes are 4-credit courses.
3.Other duties as may be assigned by the Chair and the Office of Academic Affairs.
1.MA or PhD in Art History preferred, or an equivalent academic degree and/or experience
2.Commitment to, and support of, a diverse community.
3.Ability to interact successfully with a broad constituency.
4.The ability to set and meet deadlines.
5.The ability to work both independently and as an effective team member.
Additional Desired Qualifications:
1.At least MA degree in Art History
2.Prior college teaching experience beyond the TF level.
3.Understanding the role of scholarship and service in undergraduate liberal arts and in graduate education.
4.Prior college or university teaching experience.
