Job Opening – Adjunct Faculty – Art History (10/2012)
The General Education Program at Henley-Putnam University is currently seeking to fill adjunct faculty positions for our undergraduate courses. We are specifically seeking on-line faculty for these courses. The teaching faculty provides quality education and service to the students in meeting the objectives of our programs and preparing students to effectively participate in the global community and workforce.
Duties: The adjunct teaching faculty performs duties relating to the delivery of curricula in an in-online classroom setting. This includes, but is not limited to planning and developing curriculum, completing course revisions, managing the online classroom activities, providing the students with guidance to accessing resources supporting the course objectives, grading assignments, and providing timely feedback to the students. Adjunct faculty members support relevant University initiatives and are provided with a variety of opportunities for professional development.
We are currently seeking faculty to facilitate courses in Art History.
Requirements and Qualifications: Master’s degree in one of the above areas of specialization or eighteen (18) hours graduate work in discipline area and a Master’s degree required; terminal degree a plus. Successful candidates will have extensive industry or teaching experience including online instruction, together with excellent organizational and communication skills, ability to utilize a variety of teaching styles, and deliver instruction to students with diverse learning styles.
