Art History, Modern and/or Contemporary Art/Arts Management. Penn State Behrend is seeking a tenure-track art historian beginning August 2013. Teaching experience, demonstrated research potential, and significant arts management experience are essential requirements for the position. Duties will include teaching courses in Arts Administration, a new major at Penn State Behrend. Responsibilities will also include teaching the second half of the art history survey and courses in Modern Art/Contemporary Art. The ideal candidate will be able to offer an occasional survey in an area of non-western art. The successful hire will have a leadership role in promoting and expanding the Arts Administration major. A.B.D. required; Ph.D. preferred.
